Draft — requires legal review before launch

This policy is a working draft prepared for One Day Accounting Inc. It must be reviewed and approved by a qualified legal advisor, and the Information Officer's details confirmed, before the site goes live.

Responsible party

One Day Accounting Inc. is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy, as that term is used in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

One Day Accounting Inc., 70 Bianca Crescent, Pretoria, 0182, South Africa. Telephone 079 343 9224. Enquiries about this policy may be sent to the Information Officer at mullerc@onedayaccounting.com.

What personal information we collect

When you email or telephone us we collect only what you choose to share: your name, email address, telephone number, business name and the description of what you need help with.

The form also records that you gave consent for us to process this information. We do not collect financial records, identity numbers or banking details through this website.

Why we process it

We process the information for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, to answer questions about our services, and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one.

We do not use website enquiries for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

Consent and your choices

Contacting us by email or telephone is voluntary. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us, in which case we will stop processing your information and delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.

Providing your information is voluntary. If you would rather not use the form, you are welcome to telephone us instead.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months of your last contact with us.

If you become a client, the information forms part of your client file and is retained for the periods required by South African tax and company law, generally five years from the end of the relevant tax period, and longer where a dispute, review or audit remains open.

Sharing and security

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Form submissions are transmitted through our website form provider and received by email. Access is limited to the people at One Day Accounting Inc. who need it to respond to you. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing of it. Send the request to mullerc@onedayaccounting.com or telephone us and we will respond within a reasonable period.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.
